18 Weeks

Today we went to the Dr. to check the heart beat and the growth of our little peanut. At this time I'm beginning to feel the baby move and flutter around. If anyone wants to know what this is like, it remotely resembles the "Butterflies" we get when we are nervous. Guys... it sometimes feels like gas. Does that help? Moving forward, Dr. Dina whipped out the heart monitor to find the beat of the wild. (Last time we heard this heart beat it was that of a hummingbird....bumbumbumbumbumbumbum.) After about 30 seconds of trying to get the little wild one to calm down and stop moving, we finally got to hear the beat. This time, it was actually rhythmic. I had a nice badum-badum-badum... you all know the feeling of your heart after walking up a few stairs, that's what it sounded like. Anyway... we again confirmed paternity as Dr. Dina states, "Oh dear we have a live one...(as she's trying to get the baby to sit still)...you might need to get a leash for this one." Ok, Peanut officially has my hyperness. I'm so sorry Aron...Hope you didn't like your sleep that much!
