Well, we went to the Dr yesterday and it looks like Little Peanut will be appearing sooner than we expected. I had to do an "internal" to see if she has dropped, if I'm dilated, effaced... all that good stuff. Now, let me just share with you. These things are NOT comfortable and are NOT in any way PAIN FREE! Girls, you've had the annual so you have some what of an idea. Guys, it would be like someone shoving something up your pee hole, not pleasant...
As Dr. Dina checked me out we found out that baby is VERY LOW, I am already 3 centimeters dilated and 80% effaced. Let me translate... Very Low, is great! This means she's engaged and in between my pelvic bone. 3 cm dilated is even better since I have to get to 10 cm before I can push. This also means I won't be starting labor at 0 cm trying to wait out hours and hours. But that isn't even the best part. The 80% effaced means she only has 20% more to go until go time. Now, my one friend was 80% effaced and went within a few days. So who knows?? The countdown is on.
Everyone be prepared, we have your cell phone numbers programed and will be sending out a text when we go into labor. My next question is, whose going to win the bet?
