Sleep Deprived

Aron and I have both come to realize that our maternal/paternal instincts are kicking in a lot earlier than we thought. We are constantly tired from the lack of sleep we get. I know what you're thinking...why aren't they sleeping? Since I've hit the last few months of the pregnancy, every little noise wakes us up and keeps us up for at least 30 minutes. From the blinds shuttering from the wind, to the sprinklers outside all the way to a car driving by will wake us. This occurrence can happen once to twice a night leaving us tired and groggy the next morning. On top of the noises, I've got this 15 inch child bouncing around thinking it's fun to play around 3am every night. I can't complain too much about this one though. It is quite funny to feel her kick the hell out me. Last night I even got to feel her leg...so I grabbed it as she shoved it up. Imagine the scene from "Alien" where the little monster is coming out of the stomach... that's what this resembles. (Just not as grotesque) Anyway, Aron and I have ro-sham-bo'd for the 3am feeding and it looks like he'll be up for that one. I'll pump, he feeds, I sleep... Sucks to lose! :)
