Merry Christmas 2010

Merry Christmas Everyone! This year was even more fun than last :) Maybe it's because I have two of the sweetest little girls every, or maybe it's because Kenadie REALLY knows the deal about Santa. After a fun Christmas Eve at my parents house, we were racing home to beat Santa. All of a sudden I hear sniffles and see big crocodile tears coming from the back seat. I turned and asked KK "What's wrong sweetie?" I'm honestly thinking that she's going to tell me she's been bad and doesn't think she's getting presents (You know, the first signs of having a conscience...) Nah, I get this response "Mommy...is it snowing yet?" "No, KK, why?" "Well, (sniff, sniff, tear) if there is no snow, then how is Santa going to land his sleigh on our roof?" Ahh, man! This was a tough one...so, we told her about Santa's magical snow...you guys all know what we are talking about! The kind he makes when flying to warm places so he can land on the roof and go down the chimney? :) Christmas morning, Aron and I were so excited for Kenadie to see what Santa had brought and the magical snow he left behind, that he and I were up checking her every 10 minutes. A bit of role reversal...
